JBK Manufacturing is owned by Ken and Bob Nutter. The business was formed in 1981.Currently the business is being managed by William Bowling who was named President in December of 2002.Mr.Bowling has 32 years of manufacturing experience and a solid background in the casting business. His background in the casting business has been a benefit due to much of the work JBK does is with castings. The company has configured a staff who is equipped to handle many task. This gives JBK a competitive edge.
William Bowling is the President of JBK. Mr. Bowling has over thirty years of manufacturing experience. He has been employed at JBK since 1987.He held the positions of Quality Control Manager and Plant Manager prior to being promoted to President this year. He was employed at the Bimac Corporation, before he came to JBK. He held the position of Vice President at Bimac. Mr. Bowling has an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Engineering.
Roger Hoyer is JBK's Plant Manager. Mr. Hoyer has been at JBK since 1982.He worked as a Machinist/Toolmaker until he was promoted to shop supervisor in March of 1990.He is well versed on all manufacturing principles. Mr. Hoyer has established many of the manufacturing technique that we use to make our products. He has been instrumental in JBK's start up of "Job Boss".
William Barrows is JBK's manager of Engineering. Mr. Barrows is a graduate of the University of Kentucky. He has been with the company since 1986.Mr.Barrows initiated the oil testing procedures that we use for our oil jet business. He is proficient in all aspects of machine programming and AutoCad. Mr. Barrows has established and maintains our computer system at JBK.
James Pearson is JBK's Quality Control Manager. Mr. Pearson has been with the company since 1989. Mr. Pearson was the Chief Inspector at JBK prior to being promoted to Quality Manager in 1995. Under his guidance JBK's quality system has been ISO registered and NADCAP approved. He is a Designated Supplier Quality Representative for General Electric. Mr. Pearson is presently in the process of attaining his Level 3 status for Florescent Penetrant Inspection.
Carol Vandeventer is JBK's Controller. She began her career with JBK in 1984.Prior to coming to JBK she spent six years at Elano as a part time employee while attending school. Ms. Vandeventer is a 1984 graduate of Wright State University. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Management.
Becky Chabannes is JBK's Purchasing Manager. Becky is a graduate of University of Alabama. She has been with JBK for 11 years. In addition to purchasing, Becky is involved in many aspects of support at JBK. |
