Over the past decade JBK Manufacturing has established its self as the premier manufacturer of "cyclonic separators" in the United States. In addition, JBK has remained active in the aerospace industry, and has built an excellent reputation for their expertise in the oil jet manufacturing and testing business. JBK has a strong workforce that is highly qualified and experienced.

Company BackgroundJBK Manufacturing was established in 1981 by the Nutter family. JBK was used as an offload source for their larger company, Elano Corporation. JBK operated as a "partner" with Elano until 1986.JBK worked mostly on Elano's GE Erie products and made some special tooling. In 1986 the Nutter family sold Elano to General Electric Company. JBK was not included in that sale. JBK moved to their present location in 1987 and found themselves with much desire and ability, but only one customer. Operating as a new company without the support of Elano presented some new challenges. Elano and their new owners began pulling work from JBK and putting it back in-house. JBK was in need of a customer base and a new a identity. Help came in early 1987 when JBK was contacted by Speco Corporation. Speco was recently awarded a contract for the mid-body transmission for the V-22 aircraft. This was a Bell-Boeing joint project. Speco was in need of a source for the oil jets for the transmission. JBK had limited knowledge of the oil jet business, but showed great perseverance and was able to get the job done. This effort did not go un-noticed by the prime contractor. Bell Helicopter began to use JBK as their source for oil jets. JBK took this start and expanded into many areas. Although the oil jet business only amounts to about 20% of our sales today, it still represents the can do philosophy that this business was built on.
